Chervil is found growing from Russia to south eastern Europe near the mediterranean sea,chervil has a peppery,citrus,anise like taste . This herb is found in many French dishes and herb blends like fines herbs and Herbes de provence.

As with most herbs Chervil should be added at the end of cooking so it's delicate flavor is not damaged or diluted by the cooking process.You can use chervil to season fish,chicken good on eggs,souffles and of course quiches also in butter or cream sauces.
