Ceylon Cinnamon Whole Sticks


Ceylon cinnamon is the preferred in Mexico and Europe.It is some times referred to as the" true cinnamon" but it has a much lower oil content, between 1 and 2%, and its flavor is not as strong as the cinnamon's we love in the US.Cinnamon is grown all over the tropical regions of the world now.

This cinnamon is very delicate so they stack them in layers then roll into tightly hand rolled quills which makes them more expensive.They feel like parchment paper,they are very easy to break in your fingers.. All three varieties of cinnamon can be used as a substitute for one another in hot cocoa,spiced pears,coffee or peaches.pies,cakes and in spice blends.
